I love books and I love to tell people about books. Here are some ebooks that are currently on sale (I don’t know for how long) and are very much worth your time & money. I don’t know when the book sales end, but you should definitely check them out.

The Need for Simple Living

In this world there are a lot of things that take our attention and demand that we devote our time. As a follower of Jesus, all of these things can clutter our life and our soul. We need to find a way to declutter our life. Bill Hybels’s new book Simplify aims to do just that.

Last week I wrote about Soul Keeping by John Ortberg, and Simplify has a similar goal, but comes at it from a different direction. While Ortberg writes about what the soul needs, Hybels writes about what clutters the soul and how to remove that clutter. Simplify is a more practical book with steps for removing the clutter in various parts of your life. I think that both books are needed because the offer two different angles to the discussion of how to keep your soul. Continue reading
